Green, Eco Friendly, Renewable Energy
An Ultra is all this and more. It will help you reduce your carbon footprint, making our Earth a better place. Installing your system will be the equivalent of planting 750 trees or removing two cars from our highways.
Now that's being Eco-sponsible!
All Ultras use R410a, an earth friendly refrigerant. Using the latest in geothermal technology, like Scroll Compressors and Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers, every Ultra gives you comfort and energy savings. ECONAR is the leader in ColdClimate™ heat pumps, providing you with more heating for every cooling BTU than any other manufacturer.
How does it work?
It simply takes advantage of the earth's ability to store heat. Water circulating through a loop of pipe buried in the ground draws off this free heat. As the ground temperature water reaches the heat pump, it is absorbed by a low pressure refrigerant, which then vaporizes. The refrigerant is then compressed, raising its temperature to 160°F. Finally, the heat energy is released via the blower and ductwork throughout your church, school, business or home. In the summer, the flow of the refrigerant is merely reversed so that heat is drawn from the building and released into the ground. To see this process in action, view our brief Flash video that features the Geothermal Heating and Cooling Process.
Compared to the Rest
The heat pump is a good idea made better by ECONAR. It is so well engineered that it carries you through the longest winter and hottest summer. Using ColdClimate Technology, the GeoSource Ultra is many times more efficient than heat pumps that extract heat from the air, and of course much safer and cleaner than a furnace. Due to its high-capacity exchangers, it can provide up to 100% of the heating so a back-up system is not necessary. Accessories include an electronic thermostat, polyethylene plastic earth loop piping for maximum heat transfer, and a PumpPAK™ for simplified installation and quiet operation. In addition, your ECONAR heat pump comes with the best warranty in the industry.
